Join us for an evening of creativity, spookiness, and fun. Let’s make this Halloween season unforgettable memories by crafting an enclosed terrarium that’s guaranteed to give a delightful fright! Using a selection of dark tropical plants, you’ll design a unique, balanced ecosystem in a glass vessel that’s self-sustaining and requires minimal upkeep once established. Add live critters to give it an EXTRA spooky feel. Spaces are limited, so gather your friends and let’s create an unforgettable experience with a touch of creativity and a hint of fright! Length of Workshop: 1.5 – 2 hours Location: The District at Beltline – Food Hall & Lounge Address: 227 11 Ave SW, Calgary, AB Date: Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024 Time: 6:30PM-8:30PM Age Restriction: If attendee is under 13, attendee must be accompanied by a parent. Please provide name of attendees for this booking. Max 1 adult per attendee under 13 due to space. What's Included: - An instructor led step-by-step workshop - 6-inch glass terrarium jar with lid - 3-5 dark themed tropical plants (cuttings/mini plants will vary depending on availability) - 3 types live moss to choose from - All supplies, tools and decorative materials are all included - Take home care kit & CANDY FOR ALL GUESTS TO ENJOY! - Optional add for $5: add critters (isopods & springtails) to your closed terrarium to give it that extra spooky feel. These critters help contribute to your enclosed vessel by eating all the decaying matter, mold, bacteria to keep your vessel nice and healthy. - Complimentary admission to Crosswalk Comedy in The Lounge after the workshop! Plants, design and décor options will vary. The workshop is non-refundable but can be transferred to another person for this event. A minimum of 6 participants is required for the class to run. Cancellation Policy

If the minimum class requirement is not met. No refund for workshops however, it can be transferred to another person if you are unable to make the attendance for this workshop only. The workshop may be rescheduled or refunded with a credit for another workshop.
