At YYC Plants & Delivery, we have filled the month with hands on plant workshops across Calgary and surrounding areas, and there is something for every type of plant lover, from total beginners to seasoned collectors.

If you are searching for a thoughtful gift, a statement piece for your home, or a fresh look for your office in Calgary, a hand designed plant arrangement from YYC Plants & Delivery is one of the most meaningful choices you can make.

Dozens of curious plant lovers sat down at long shared tables, rolled up their sleeves and left with a miniature bonsai tree they had repotted, wired, trimmed and shaped themselves.

At YYC Plants & Delivery, we are a local, family owned botanical friend, and workshops are the heart of what we do. This particular evening was a double workshop, which meant every guest created two pieces of living art to take home. One was a Kokedama. The other was a mounted plant. Two creations, one unforgettable night.

That was the scene this past week when YYC Plants & Delivery hosted a terrarium-building workshop at The Mash in Chestermere, and it was easily one of the most joyful pop-up events we have run in the area so far.

YYC Plants & Delivery works alongside both, not as a vendor you hand off to once and forget, but as a partner built into how you already run weddings.

Guests built a kokedama, a Japanese moss-covered root ball, and a mounted plant on wood, all in one two-hour session.

We work with property management companies, leasing teams, and building owners across Calgary and the surrounding area to bring greenery into the tenant journey in three main ways: move-in plant gifting, hands-on plant workshops for residents, and ongoing lobby and common-area plant design.

A fall plant workshop could be an opportunity to bring a team together after a busy summer, organize a community gathering or simply create an evening where friends can spend time together.

Bonsai has a reputation for being intimidating, a decades-long discipline reserved for patient monks and meticulous hobbyists. We built this workshop to strip away that mystique and instead offer people a genuinely relaxing, hands-on evening.

As a locally owned plant and floral company serving Calgary and the surrounding region, YYC Plants & Delivery has become the trusted partner for office entries, desk plants, corporate events, and staff appreciation experiences.

If you're in Calgary, Airdrie, Chestermere, Cochrane, High River, or Okotoks and want to try bonsai without committing to years of solo trial and error, YYC Plant Delivery's bonsai workshops are built exactly for that.
