At YYC Plants & Delivery, we are a local, family owned botanical friend, and workshops are the heart of what we do. This particular evening was a double workshop, which meant every guest created two pieces of living art to take home. One was a Kokedama. The other was a mounted plant. Two creations, one unforgettable night.

Plant Bingo is a hosted, interactive event from YYC Plants & Delivery that takes classic bingo and gives it a botanical twist. Instead of walking away with a cheap trinket, winners take home rare and trending houseplants, decorative planters, plant care kits, seasonal plants and other botanical goodies. The Tavern at Deerfoot event offered over $750 in prizes.

That was the scene this past week when YYC Plants & Delivery hosted a terrarium-building workshop at The Mash in Chestermere, and it was easily one of the most joyful pop-up events we have run in the area so far.

YYC Plants & Delivery works alongside both, not as a vendor you hand off to once and forget, but as a partner built into how you already run weddings.

If you plan events, manage an office, run HR at a Calgary company, or organize activities for a community group, you know the challenge: finding something fresh that actually gets people excited to show up. At YYC Plants & Delivery, our seasonal plant workshops are built for exactly that. They are hands on, instructor led, and completely turnkey for teams across Calgary and the surrounding area, from Airdrie to Okotoks to Cochrane.

Guests built a kokedama, a Japanese moss-covered root ball, and a mounted plant on wood, all in one two-hour session.

Calgary's favorite plant party rolled into the taproom for another sold out round of Plant Bingo, and what happened over the next hour and a half was something we did not expect even after hosting dozens of these events across Calgary and the surrounding areas: over 40 people who mostly walked in as strangers walked out as friends, some of them literally holding hands and holding houseplants at the same time. Calgary's newest way to meet new friends over houseplants.

YYC Plants & Delivery is bringing our most popular fall event back to venues across Calgary and the surrounding area: the Succulent + Dried Florals Pumpkin Workshop.

That's exactly what our Private Plant Bingo Workshops are designed to deliver. At YYC Plants & Delivery, we've taken the format that Calgary has fallen in love with at our public events and made it bookable exclusively for your group, at a time, location, and scale that works for you.

YYC Plants & Delivery's Floral Bar brings that same experience to weddings, showers, corporate events, and parties across Calgary and the surrounding areas. We're specifically interested in companies that already reach the same people we do, whether that's homeowners furnishing a new space, workplace decision-makers investing in their office culture, or people planning events and gifts, so that a partnership introduces our workshops, plant delivery, and corporate plant programs to an audience that's already inclined to want them.

YYC Plants & Delivery hosted a sold-out Create A Bonsai workshop at The District at Beltline, right in the Food Hall and Lounge Building on 11 Avenue Southwest, and the room was full of energy from the very first minute.

YYC Plants & Delivery offers private plant workshops throughout Calgary and surrounding communities, providing hands-on experiences for corporate teams, families, friends, community organizations, and celebrations.

We work with property management companies, leasing teams, and building owners across Calgary and the surrounding area to bring greenery into the tenant journey in three main ways: move-in plant gifting, hands-on plant workshops for residents, and ongoing lobby and common-area plant design.
